Support for Parents
Parenting can be a wonderful and challenging adventure that completely takes life in a new direction. It can be exciting, overwhelming, and filled with unexpected stressors. Do you need help adjusting to this phase of life? Do you find yourself increasingly feeling the following?

These emotions can be common for parents who juggle children, home, relationship, work, and a busy life. What's supposed to be "the best time in your life" is sometimes "the most stressful time of your life". Parents often find when they speak with a therapist that they are better able to manage daily stressors as a result of being able to vent frustrations and learn new parenting and coping skills.

Support for Teens & Children ages 3+
Children who are struggling often don't have the words to tell you what is wrong but will show you through their actions, moods, and behavior. Common reasons children are referred for therapy include behavioral and emotional changes due to experiences of trauma, undiagnosed and diagnosed learning disabilities, grief, poor adjustments to recent transitions (moving, divorce, new family member, death, deployment), problems at school, or problems with family members. Is your child experiencing any of the following?
- Increases in aggression
- Increases in defiance
- Night/day time wetting (after being potty trained)
- Increases in crying
- Changes in eating habits
- Nightmares/night terrors
- Wanting to be closer to parent more than usual
- Self-harming behaviors (head banging, self- scratching, pulling out hair)
- Problems at school or daycare
- Increases in kicking, biting, pushing, or hitting
- Property destruction
- Increases in emotional sensitivity
- Withdrawing from family and friends
- Isolating
