Thank you for stopping by the page. My name is Elizabeth Nua and I am passionate about helping children and parents improve the family's overall well-being. In my opinion, everyone is an individual and requires an individualized approach to therapy that can be tailored to your needs.  I will work with you  to facilitate growth, understanding, and skill-building necessary to support you or your child's mental health needs.  Children will be provided a safe space to process what they are struggling with and will learn new skills to help them improve in the home, school, and community.

A little about myself, I received a B.A. in Psychology from UCSD in 2007 and a Master's of Science in Counseling Psychology in 2012. I love my career as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and feel I have a special connection with children. As a parent of teenagers (now young adults) myself, I can relate on a personal level to many parental stressors and would love to help provide your family with extra support.

Professionally, I have provided therapy for over thirteen years in office and school-based settings to families, children, teens, and young adults, ages 3-21. Previous experience includes working collaboratively with schools to support Individualized Educational Plans (IEP's), conduct school presentations, and assess for safety and placement needs. My experience managing a County funded community mental health program, supervising other Therapists, and collaborating with many school district personnel has provided an excellent experience. I have spent years obtaining additional trainings specializing in working with children to assist in addressing many behavioral and emotional challenges.

I look forward to working with you and your family
